Daniel is currently Music Supervisor for the London productions of The Phantom Of The Opera and Les Miserables, the UK touring production of Miss Saigon, and the Berlin and UK touring productions of Cats.
Daniel began his training at the Cleveland Institute of Music and received his Bachelor's Degree from Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. He continued his studies in a graduate capacity at the Julliard School and the St. Louis Conservatory of Music.
Daniel started his career as a classical trumpet player. He has performed as a recitalist in most of the world's capitals and been a member of some of America's top orchestras under the batons of such luminaries as Leonard Bernstein, Eugene Ormandy, George Solti, Andre Previn, Leonard Slatkin and Michael Tilson-Thomas. His interest in conducting began whilst still a student at Curtis under the tutelage of Max Rudolph. Later conducting teachers include Leonard Bernstein, Michael Tilson-Thomas, Sergio Celibidache and Charles Bruck.
Daniel began his career in Theatre in !991. Other theatre credits include Jesus Christ Superstar and West Side Story.
