Jenny Kagan - Lighting Designer
 

Jenny trained as an actress and worked as a stage manager before turning to Lighting Design. She spent two months in Australia designing the lighting for Peter Pan at the Capitol Theatre Sydney. She designed the lighting for Sacred Ellington which was performed by Jessye Norman at the Barbican Centre. Other productions include Who\'s Afraid Of Virginia Woolf at the Almeida and Aldwych Theatres; High Life (Bush Theatre), A Small Drop Of Ink (Hampstead Theatre), Things We Do For Love and An Experienced Woman Gives Advice (Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh), Starstruck and Ugly Rumours (Tricycle Theatre), Epitaph To Whales ( Gate Theatre), Seven x7 ( West Yorkshire Playhouse). Etc.

Jenny won the London Fringe Lighting Design award for The Wax King. She worked as Assistant to David Hersey on Piaf, The Seagull, Martin Guerre and Jesus Christ Superstar and has been Associate Lighting Designer on Oklahoma ( Royal National Theatre and West End), Oliver ( UK tour and Princess of Wales, Toronto) and Les Miserables (UK tour, Sydney, Antwerp and Dublin). Jenny also recreated the lighting design for the filming of the National\'s production of Oklahoma! for Primetime Televsion.
