Jon Jon has performed in MISS SAIGON all over the world, beginning with Cameron Mackintosh's original London cast. He then went to Germany where he played The Engineer. London called again, this time to be Alterate Engineer for the final year of the production in the West End, after which he joined the second US national tour. He then reprised the role in the Manila, Philippines and Asia tour productions. He joins this production after recently completing another US national tour as the Engineer.
Jon Jon grew up in Manila, Philippines where he performed such roles as Laertes in HAMLET, Enjorlas in LES MISERABLES, Seymour in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, Cowardly Lion in THE WIZ, Rapunzel’s Prince in INTO THE WOODS, Slovitch in FOOLS, Laurent in GAYBIRDS and Narrator in JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR, a role he shared with his brother Edward.
In New York, where he now resides with his wife and daughter, he has taken part in CHILDREN OF EDEN at the Papermill Playhouse and PEREGRINAYSON, an original Filipino play with MA-YI Theatre Company He has made several Television and Film appearances and was most recently seen as a recurring guest star on NBC’s LAS VEGAS.
